 In translating this song, I chose "restraint" as the core, avoiding overly sensational words. For the recurring "remaining warmly," I deliberately avoided translating it as a passionate warmth, opting instead for the more passive "remains" to echo the lingering heat after the passage of time. When handling "I can't go anywhere," I tried to preserve the delicate emotion of staying in place voluntarily due to the weight of yearning rather than being forcibly bound. Through this restrained selection of words, I hope to recreate Frieren's detached yet profoundly deep way of mourning, unique to her long-lived race, within the Chinese and English transitions.
